Behind Blue Eyes

I recently had the pleasure of photographing twin girls with the most amazing blue eyes. Beautiful, hypnotic, and adorable beyond words!

Dancing Water Drops

I've always been fascinated with photographing water. Whether it's the spray off a competitive swimmer, a cascading waterfall, or a flowing river, it always captivates me. I finally found a few hours of free time so I could experiment with macro close up photography of a water drop as it crashes into another body of water. The endless variations remind me of looking at clouds. Everyone seems to see something different... All the pictures were taken with the Nikon D700 and the Nikon 105 Micro lens.

Emma And Rashad

After 18 years and 500+ weddings as a professional photographer this was my first Quaker wedding! It was a beautiful ceremony on a lovely waterfront setting in southern Maryland. Emma and Rashad were a joy to photograph all day long. They even entertained us with some Celtic dancing! Many thanks to the very talented Ashley Davis from Happy Heart Photography for helping me shoot this wedding. For more pics check out featured wedding #5 on my website gallery...

Jillian and Ben

The hiking trail to the Loch Raven Reservoir has a special significance for Jillian and Ben because that's where he proposed to her. He couldn't have picked a better spot. It's beautiful, peaceful and romantic. A perfect location for engagement photos, or a proposal!

Andrea and Michael

Without a doubt this was easily one of the most enjoyable photo sessions I've ever done. It was an absolutely beautiful spring evening in Washington DC, and Andrea and Michael are two of the nicest people you could ever want to meet. We had a total blast going from location to location and trying out different ideas. I think the last picture of Michael softly kissing Andrea on the neck is one of the best photographs I've ever taken. The expression on her face is priceless! Young, in love and totally happy. You gotta love it...Thank you Andrea and Michael for an awesome evening!

Tiffany and Tatsuo

This might have been the shortest engagement session I've ever done! Tiffany and Tatsuo told me on the phone that they really don't like having their picture taken and just needed a photo for their save the date announcement. So I was amazed when this extremely attractive and personable couple showed up! They were very relaxed in front of the camera and everything just seemed to flow effortlessly. It was an unusually warm and humid night for April and so we kept the session short. I'm really looking forward to their wedding in September and getting to spend more time with them.
