Photo of the Week

It's always important to photograph the details of the wedding day. The basic rule of thumb for any photographer is if the bride and groom spent money on it take a picture of it! The big three of course are the bride's dress, ring, and the wedding cake.

I normally photograph the rings while the bride and groom and their guests are eating dinner. This gives me time to experiment and to provide the rings the proper treatment they deserve. For this shot I always use my Nikon 105 micro lens with lighting from an off-camera SB900 flash wirelessly triggered by the on-camera flash of my Nikon D700. This combination always produces stunning results.
